Hernán Fretto develops his work as an independent professional, directing his own Firm, Hernán Fretto Studio, where he provides Strategic Product Design Services to manufacturers, producers and deales of furniture, mobility and product.
He is a Titular Professor in the National University of Misiones, where he teaches in the course Concepts and Project Methods of the Industrial Design Career in the Arts Campus since 2008. He is a Titular Professor in the Austral University, where he teaches in the course Making Design 3 of the Design Career in the Comunication Campus since 2020. He is also currently positioned as Head of Practical Works in the subjetct of Ergonomics at the University of Buenos Aires, where he has succesfully taught Industrial Design since 1999. Besides Argentina, he has also been a Guest Lecturer and Professor of Industrial Design at ISTHMUS, College of Architecture and Design of Latin America and the Caribbean, Panama City, Panama since 2013.
He is a researcher in projects of data gathering, development and scientific ergonomic validation in different universities since 2005.
